Lovely to see all those birds, and the views...

We regularly see buzzards around our house here in Somerset UK and, less often, kestrels. Sparrowhawks regularly come down to try and grab a bird - magnificent sight, as well as sad to lose one of our customers.

Our best viewing of a Peregrine was in Scotland, camping. One flew into the bush at the side of us, grabbed a bird and went, before I hardly had a chance to see it! It was huge, fascinating and frightening!

If you love raptors and being out in the Bay, now is a great time to visit Angel Island State Park. The fire has exposed lots of little critters to these flying hunters, and they are swirling around in great numbers now.
And if you love this park as we do, please consider visitng www.angelisland.org to support the park!
