Next time you are in Santa Cruz - go to The Nuevo South West Grill 2-1490 East Cliff Drive - the food is great. You can check out the menu at http://www.santacruzmenus.com/view.php?id=1&cat=2&subcat=0&subsubcat=0&page=0

You can taste the freshness of the produce and I highly recommend the crab ommlette with creme fraiche. They also have Mexican specialities. Enjoy a mimosa if it's a special occasion and take a walk along the beach at the end of the road afterwards. They sometimes have live music too.

And if you are visiting on Sundays, pop across the road to Live Oak Farmer's Market where they also have live entertainment and lots of certified organic produce.
